:. Bond Movies Added to Xbox Live Video Marketplace .: || 02/24/2008 - 3:45 AM ||

With the addition of MGM to the Video Marketplace, that means you can now download James Bond flicks for your HD viewing pleasure on the Xbox 360. Currently there are only two of the most recent Pierce Brosnan Bond movies, Die Another Day and The World is Not Enough, with more in the pipelines.

Having ready access to the entirety of the Bond library through the Video Marketplace is definitely going to be a very cool thing. I mean, sure, it’s worthless to someone like me that already owns every one of those movies on DVD (and Blu-ray in Casino Royale’s case), but for anyone else looking for quick and easy access to the classic British spy films, this is pretty sweet.

Producer Michael Wilson said the film would have "twice as much action" as 2006's Casino Royale, which saw Daniel Craig debut as the iconic secret agent.

Craig said the cryptic title referenced how Bond's heart had been broken at the end of Casino Royale.

In the secretive world of movie spy James Bond, the "Bond girl" for the new installment in the film series had been top secret, but on Monday Bond's backers said Ukrainian bombshell Olga Kurylenko is the actress.

Columbia Pictures, the studio behind the popular movies about the British secret agent, said the 28 year-old Kurylenko has been cast in one of the most coveted roles in the movies -- 007's sidekick for the still untitled Bond flick.

A former model, Kurylenko was most recently seen alongside Timothy Olyphant in last November's "Hitman."

:. Daniel Craig to stay covered up in next Bond role .: || 01/07/2008 - 3:20 PM ||

Leather-faced laugh-fest Daniel Craig has decided to keep his chest well-covered in the next Bond film, clearly feeling that the sight of his rippling muscles took people's attention away from the serious issues being explored in the film - such as shooting people and running about on cranes.

Naturally, his Bond will be rather more serious than in the past, because Bond films have always been an intense psychological journey into the mind of a damaged man rather than an excuse to show flashy gadgets and make fanny jokes.

Well no more, dammit! This is a serious Bond, and only an artist like Daniel (who is increasingly beginning to resemble the shovel-faced one from Robson and Jerome) can give the role the proper gravitas.
