Daily cases of coronavirus in Bogotá remain above 200

In Colombia, 1,917 new cases were registered, 144 infections less than this Sunday.

This Monday, Colombia again registered a rise in daily COVID-19 infections, for the fourth consecutive day. The Ministry of Health revealed that, in the last 24 hours, in Colombia 1,917 new cases were registered, 144 infections less than this Sunday.

Likewise, the number of deaths was 38, of which 37 belong to previous days.

With these figures, the total number of infections in Colombia reached 5’016,959 and deaths at 127,571. The Ministry of Health issued a new invitation to continue with the vaccination scheme and continue with biosafety measures in order to avoid a rebound in cases at all costs.

So far in the pandemic, Bogotá has registered a total of 1,456,599 infections, while Antioquia reached a total of 759,335 cases and Valle del Cauca 412,535. Thus the things and according to the most recent report of the Ministry, the capital of the country added today 218 new cases.
