According to the author of the project, Councilor Jorge Colmenares, the implementation of the decree will be gradual and the objective will be to stop advertising food considered unhealthy, such as hamburgers, cakes, empanadas, sodas and sweets.

In turn, the councilor announced that products that are not for children such as pizzas, coffee and packages that do not show that they are recommended for children on their labeling.

Following this idea, the project seeks that fruits, natural juices, among other healthy foods, are those that are in the foreground in stores.

For now, the decree is projected to be implemented from 2022 and is awaiting the mayor Claudia López sanction it.
