Have you learned to pronounce the most unique baby name that is X Æ A-12? But it’s gonna change.
Grimes and Elon Musk welcomed their first baby earlier this month on May 4th and gave him a unique name as X Æ A-12 which is pronounced as Ex Ash A Twelve. The couple has to change the name of their son as it is not as per the rules of California.
According to California Rulebook – the name that is to be written in the birth certificates must be framed by using the 26 alphabetical letters of the English Language. In this, apostrophes and dashes are allowed.
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Musk and her partner revealed their baby’s changed name through an Instagram post. Grimes on Sunday, posted a new photo on Instagram which got liked by most of their fans and then there’s a list of questions and queries started in the comment section related to baby’s names and California Rule.
One of the comments read – “Did you change the baby name because of California Laws? What’s the baby’s new name?
Grimes, the Canadian Singer, replied to that comment as – “X Æ A-Xii” without confirming the reason for the change.
A commentator who asked the initial question wrote – You are not allowed to have numbers in your name so she replaced the numbers with roman numerals. Grimes in response to this comment wrote – “Roman numerals. Looks better tbh.”
For intrigued fans, Grimes earlier broke down the meaning of the name as –
X – The unknown variable
Æ – elven spelling of Ai (love or Artificial Intelligence)
A-12 – Precursor to SR 17 (our favourite aircraft) No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent.
