Hugh Jackman and his son Oscar lay flowers in front of World War I Monument for Memorial Day in NYC

The Wolverine star pays ‘unending respect’ to the WWI soldiers along with his 20-year-old son Oscar of celebrating Memorial Day. 

Hugh and his son Oscar took time out on Monday to pay respect to fallen soldiers on Memorial Day. Both were pictured while buying flowers in New York City before placing them in front of The Abingdon Square Memorial also known as The Abingdon Square Doughboy. The inscription on the monument reads, ‘Erected by popular subscription in honor of the brave men who went forth from this neighborhood to join the Armed Forces of the United States during the World War.’

Hugh, took a moment of silence with his son Oscar paying respect to the US Military Personnel as they both stood by the memorial. 

While in the picture posted by him on Instagram Account, he was posing in front of a Cannon Monument that was built for Memorial Day for remembering the local man who fought in World War I. He posted the picture with a message – “Our unending respect to the men and women of the military. #memorialday”

He appeared in black pants and a white T-shirt that consists of a text that reads as “laughing man”. With this, a hoodie tied around his waist and a pair of sunglasses.

Meanwhile, the actor is spending his time self isolating in New York during the Corona crisis and by helping others. He has been hosting secret web seminars for promoting ‘messages of connection and conversation’ with charity. He became ambassador of mental health Organization Gotcha4Life in 2017. 

Hugh advised his fans to take care of their mental health as he is promoting Gotcha4Life and the great work they are doing with this.
