Pico y Placa: This is how the new measure imposed by Claudia López will operate

From this Tuesday, January 11, the Pico y Placa in the city of Bogotá, enters a new phase, as decreed by the mayor of the city Claudia López, where the owners of the vehicles to which this regulation applies, will have to refrain from using it on the main roads at a set time from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm

This was decreed in order to provide a solution to mobility improvements within the capital of the país; and in this way the rule will begin to govern:

On the even days of the calendar, vehicles whose registration ends in 0,2,4,6,8 will have a Peak and License Plate and the odd license plates will have a restriction on unparalleled days, In other words, from this January 11 the cars finished in 1,3,5,7 and 9 are the ones that will start with the measure.

Likewise, it was announced that the Peak and Plate will only be valid from Monday to Friday, and on weekends the measure will be lifted unless they are holidays, and changes are made available by the Ministry of Mobility, and the mayors of neighboring municipalities.
