Prince Andrew let loose by Queen Elizabeth

According to British media reports, Prince Andrew, 61, is trying to sell his chalet in Switzerland, valued at around 20 million euros, as quickly as possible, so that he can pay his legal fees. The son of Queen Elizabeth of England is accused by Victoria Giuffre, a 38-year-old American, of having raped her.

The Queen of England would refuse to help her son pay his legal costs, according to the Mirror and the Daily Mail in particular. Prince Andrew would have already wanted to sell his chalet in Verbier in Switzerland, which also belongs to his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, in September to a European investor, without success. He would now seek to close the sale in an “urgent” manner.

The media also suggest that the prince’s lawyers could offer Ms Giuffre money to drop the charges. The complainant said she would not comment on this assumption.

Victoria Giuffre accuses Prince Andrew of forcing her to have sex with him three times in 2001 when she was only 17 years old. It would have been “loaned” to the prince by Jeffrey Epstein, billionaire and sex offender who committed suicide in 2019 before his trial.

Prince Andrew denies all the allegations, denigrating Ms Giuffre as venal.

Earlier this week, a hearing was held in New York City in which the prince’s lawyers hoped to torpedo a complaint filed by Victoria Giuffre. The judge, however, did not see any legal obstacles to Ms Giuffre’s continued civil proceedings against Prince Andrew, observers said. The judgment should be known soon.
