They continue with the repairs: Total closure of slow lane from North to South on Avenida Boyacá

Works continue in Bogotá and this time the construction of the handle Tibitoc pipeline matrix -Casablanca- causes a new closure on a busy city road.

It is the slow road in the North-South direction of Avenida Boyacá, where the Mobility secretary authorized the total closure between 71st Street and 70th Street.

According to the entity, the works began at 12:00 a.m. on January 13, 2022 and will spread over a period of approximately one year, for which a call is made to citizens to take into account the detours and management plan arranged to avoid vehicular congestion in this sector.

Management plan in Boyacá Avenue

Private vehicles that circulate in a North-South direction along Av. Boyacá, they will be able to continue circulating through the three (3) lanes that will be enabled adjacent to the work zone.

Regarding the mobilization of pedestrians and cyclists, it has been announced that “the platforms and the existing infrastructure for pedestrians will not be affected in any way, for this reason pedestrians will be able to circulate normally through the infrastructure designed for this purpose”, as published by the Ministry of Mobility in a statement.

  • Those who travel along the road north – south on av. Boyacá, they will be able to take the ave 80th street to the West – av. City of Cali to the South.
  • Those who circulate in the East – West direction on Av. calle 72 and want to take av. Boyacá to the south, you can take Av. Carrera 70 to the South.
  • Users traveling in the West-East direction on Av. calle 72 and want to take av. Boyacá to the south, you can take the 77A race to the south.
