On January 11, 2000, when Noah Kalina, a New York photographer, was 19 years old, he began this somewhat crazy project: “Everyday”, a self-portrait produced over 20 years. And to achieve this, he combined 7,263 photos of himself taken every day during that time. On each of them, he always keeps the same facial expression. Thus, he wants to highlight the impact of the evolution of time on his face.
“I can look at any photo from this project and know where I was (…) It’s the perfect diary for me because I never write”, the photographer told Vanschneider.
Now 39 years old, Noah Kalina plans to continue his project until the end of his life. Next video in 2040!
